Anne B. Gundelfinger is vice president of Legal and Government Affairs and associate general counsel responsible for Worldwide Sales, Marketing, and Trademark Legal Affairs for Intel Corporation. She joined Intel in 1997.
Previously, Gundelfinger was director of Corporate Marketing Legal Affairs and director of trademarks and brands. She was promoted to associate general counsel in 2001.
Gundelfinger began her career in 1985 as a staff attorney in the Bureau of Competition of the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, D.C. She then moved to private practice in 1987 with the firm of Fenwick and West, specializing in competition and intellectual property law. In 1992, she became director of trademarks at Sun Microsystems Inc.
Gundelfinger has served on the board of directors of the International Trademark Association since 1996, has been an officer since 2000, and served as its president in 2005. She was selected by Managing Intellectual Property magazine as one of the world's 50 most influential people in intellectual property in July 2005.
Gundelfinger received her bachelor's degree in English literature and French language from the University of Virginia in 1982. She received her law degree from Boston University School of Law in 1985. Gundelfinger is a member of the California, Pennsylvania and District of Columbia bars, admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. |
